Important Wingstock Transportation Details
Hello everyone,
As Wingstock 2008 approaches, it's time to discuss transportation details. This post will be accessible leading up to Wingstock by clicking the link at the top right side of the main page ("Click Here for Info, Discussion, and Updates").
Our Ride
I am very pleased to confirm that Scott Skinner has kindly volunteered to drive from the GTA in his van, the "Skinnermobile." The Skinnermobile seats 6 comfortably, but can hold a maximum of 8 Wingstockers. (Note: the picture included in this post may or may not be an accurate representation of the Skinnermobile).
Departure Plan
Our plan is to depart the GTA on Thursday evening, June 19th, after work. We'll have to confirm our list of GTA Wingstockers and co-ordinate transportation to Scott's place in Toronto. Our current target is to leave Scott's place by 6:30 pm.
Please post any comments/ideas/requests as a comment to this posting!
Cheers,
Jeff

The Ottawa contingent of the Wingstock 2008 organization committee congratulates Bradley for taking the time away from his very young son and wonderful wife to do this important work on the Wingstock 2008 website. Clearly he has his priorities straight for a Friday night.
Please be aware of the following message recently posted by the Governor General of Canada (the Queen's representative):
"I hereby announce the consideration of Chad Winger as Senator for life."
It is unclear whether this means Chad will be sitting in the Upper Chamber at Parliament Hill or as part of the starting lineup as left winger out at Scotiabank Place.
Regardless, this is exciting times in the Capital, brought on by a little known man from Brantford. RCMP preparations are underway for your arrival gentlemen.

I will post this reply under your comment Dave, and also under the "Ceremony" post as it pertains to that as well...
Thank you for the feedback and for the exciting news regarding Winger's new appointment. I'm very excited. On a related note, one of the things about having a young son is that we're all very tired. This means early bedtimes (as you'll surely see in just a few weeks). So, at 10 pm on Friday night I was the only one awake and thus took no time away from the family for my important Wingstock responsibilities. Note also Fuss, that this event is of a super-high-quality. I know you're well aware of this and that your share of the planning responsibilities will be carried out with this in mind.
Last, I know you didn't miss the wonderful shots of #13, and a more current shot of a Suckfin getting schooled by my boy Marshawn in the Ceremony slideshow. I'm just surprised I didn't here anything from you on this topic...
Cheers,
JB
Just so everyone one knows...the plan once we arrive in Ottawa is to spend Thursday night at the Fuss estate. Good times! From there, we will be staying at either Matt or Dave's the rest of the weekend...
